Timothy Antonucci, 48, was arrested by New York State Police in April, for felony rape, and two counts of a committing a criminal sexual act, in addition to endangering the welfare of a child, according to the state police.
Antonucci, who was acquainted with the child, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal sexual act, in connection with subjecting a child to sexual acts under a plea agreement last year.
In addition to the five years, he will also be subject to 10 years of post-release supervision and is prohibited from contacting the child.
New York State police said the assault took place in the towns of Newburgh and Plattekill.
